Prototyping/Product Development
Since 1997, JAR has been expanding our services to include electronics
product development and test systems.
JAR's team of electrical and software engineers are developing
embedded controllers with integrated remote sensing capability using real
time digital signal processing techniques. JAR’s
expertise includes conventional signal processing techniques as well as
image processing. JAR
employes custom digital signal processoring hardware, DSPs, Power PC and
68000 based systems. The
JAR electronics team expertise includes ultrasonic acoustics and optical
image processing. JAR recently developed a PC based data acquisition
system and software to record and analyze ultrasonic measurements.
JAR combines these technical strengths with disciplined engineering
management to provide a cost-effective alternative to in-house product
development.
JAR can provide needs analysis, operating environment assessment,
preliminary design, costing, bill of materials and physical prototypes.
We can work with the customer as supplemental design staff and also
with contract manufacturers. Specific services include sensor
development, embedded system design, testing, bread boarding, and
software development.

Software Products
JAR is an authorized source of sales, support, and training for the
best-of-class engineering software, including manufacturing process simulation
software created by the Industrial Materials Institute
- Canadian National Research Council (IMI):
- BlowView - for blow molding and
thermoforming, including extrensic, inflation, cooling, and
warpage
IMI tests and correlates the software on their own instrumented
factory floor. For more information about BlowView, please contact
Chuck Anastasia (anastasi@jar.com).
Contact IMI directly for information on, and services related to,
IMI's PlasView and CastView process simulation software.
