Development of a Custom User Interface for Modeling Circuit Breakers

For GE's Electrical Distribution and Control division, JAR produced a customized version of ADAMS/View to facilitate GE's dynamic modeling of circuit breakers. The customized user interface includes new menus and input panels which automate the creation of the impact and friction forces prevalent in GE's ADAMS models. Special force functions were also developed to model the magnetic forces which are unique to circuit breakers.
